Adams & Martin Group is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our law firm client's litigation attorneys in complex business, employment, and real estate disputes. This position is available immediately on a temporary basis with the potential for hire for the right candidate.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, deadline-driven professional who thrives in high-pressure environments and enjoys managing the technical and organizational components of litigation.
· Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, mediations, trials, and conferences
· Draft and file pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and routine discovery
· Investigate and analyze factual evidence and prepare exhibits, charts, and demonstratives
· Organize and track voluminous case documents, including pleadings and discovery
· Create and maintain case management databases and deadline tracking systems
· Conduct detailed document review and prepare discovery responses
· Prepare transcript summaries, chronologies, and case summaries
· Coordinate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel
· Obtain and review relevant records and supporting materials
· Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and courtroom support
· 3-6+ years of civil litigation experience preferred
· Paralegal certificate required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred
· Advanced knowledge of litigation procedures and legal terminology
· Experience managing discovery and large document productions
· Proficiency with eDiscovery protocols, electronic document management systems, and document review platforms
· Strong computer and technical proficiency, including legal research platforms and case management systems
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Temporary Candidates will be paid an hourly rate during the temporary period commensurate with experience
